This Privacy Policy describes how SeaVie ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through Supabase Auth. We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it.
Usage and Wallet Data: We process information associated with your use of SeaVie, including:
- Documents and document metadata in your digital wallet
- Name, Surname, Rank, Age, Professional and Social Statuses where you provide or extract them
- Subscription plan and quota status
- App language preference
Content You Submit:
- Scanned document images — when you use the AI document scanner, the image is sent from the app to the SeaVie backend for processing and may then be transmitted to the OpenAI API for vision-based OCR and structured data extraction. The backend implementation also performs image preprocessing before the OpenAI request.
- PDF documents — documents submitted for AI analysis may be sent by the SeaVie backend to the Anthropic Claude API for processing.
Local Document Storage: Documents and their associated images may be stored locally on your device as part of your SeaVie digital wallet. This local storage is separate from temporary transmission of images to our backend and third-party AI providers for processing.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store credit card information. RevenueCat is used to manage subscription entitlements.
